A hearty welcome to our dear Guests
The “ Worthmühle“ ( mühle= mill ) was acquired by the council of
Goslar in 1293. Together with other corn- mills it was hired for rent
in the17 th century. Bevor the 1. worldwar it was still in use as a
corn - mill, about 1930 it became agrocery also selling flour and
cattle food.
A general dying- out of mills did not exclude the „ Worthmühle „. In
1996 the restaurant was restored on three levels providing 70 seats
and a romantic beer-garden. Our meals are mainly typical of the region
„ Harz „. The gose – beer, known since the middle- ages, is specially
fabricatet for the „ Worthmühle „ after the rules of purity for
german beer.
You can only enjoy it here directly from the barrel.
The whole
team of the „ Worthmühle „
wishes you a good appetite
And hopes you`ll have a nice stay in Goslar.
